PRESENTED BY AAKRITI ART GALLERY & THE SEAGULL FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS  There are many things in our lives that throw us into a state of anger. There are many things in our environment that irritate us. There are round us various social pressures we want to rebel against. Our lives are hemmed in with restrictions and frustrations of various kinds. In this over-inhabited world, there are various conflicts of interests which cannot be fully resolved. Administrators, social scientists, philosophers, priests—they all try in their own ways to contain the conflicts. But the best incentive for civilized living can come only from loving the world.’ --K. G. Subramanyan. 1924–2016. Artist, teacher, writer, thinker, friend, philosopher, guide and critic. We are deeply saddened by his death, but remains ever grateful for the opportunity to see the world through his eyes, to celebrate his art, to read and publish his writing and to learn to love not only people and things but also life, also the world itself.  The exhibition can be viewed from Monday to Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm excepting Sundays and is also available online at
