B.F.A, Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan. Won National Scholarship and Lalit Kala Akademi Fellowship. On a Charles Wallace Trust Award stayed as a resident fellow at Edinburgh College of Art, UK in 1998. Participated in several terracotta sculpture camps, International Triennial Workshop in 2001, Asia Ceramic Network Exhibition. Seminar in Seoul National University in 2005 and a Cultural Exchange Camp in Bangkok in 2006. Won the Academy of Fine Arts Award in 1987 and 1988.
His works can be found in the form of murals and sculptures with many prominent private collectors in India and abroad.
