Sri Nirmal Dutta was born at Kolkata in 1926 and left for heavenly world on 30th November, 2007.
During his career he was attached with the Education Department of Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

His works are at permanent collections with Modern Art Gallery, Birla Museum, Rabindra Bharati Museum, ABC Academy and in many other places in India and abroad.
