He is a young and upcoming painter, with a Diploma in Fine Arts from Indian Society of Oriental Arts. He has had a couple of solo shows \'Super Cognition\' at The Academy of Fine Arts , Kolkata., 2001 and ?an Eloquent Scilence? arranged by Gallery Chemould, Kolkata, in 2002.He has won the Lilabati K. Shah Memorial Award from Indian Society of Oriental Arts in 2001 and has also participated in several group shows, ?Rapport? in 2002, INFOCOM Exhibition, Kolkata in 2005 as well as in Art Camp in 2005. Besides, he was one of the artist of Gen Next at Aakriti Art Gallery in 2006.
