Sweta Chandra (b.1983)

Graduated in Painting from the Visva Bharati University and is doing her MFA in Painting in the same institution. She has participated in a number of group shows in Kolkata, Nagpur, and Delhi and in Shantiniketan, and a solo show in Mumbai. Her work has been collected by a number of people including artist Jogen Chowdhury. She is recipient of scholarships comprising of the 49th national exhibition, 2007, Bhopal; Merit Scholarships, Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati(2004-\'05) and the Vasudevan Aryanawaz Charity Scholarship (2007).<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office\" />
