Profile:

Graduated from Indian College of Art & Draftsmanship in 1996, Debasis has exhibited his works in several shows.  West Bengal State Academy, in 1998, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai in 1998 Chitrakala Parishad, Bangalore in 2001 and  Aryan Art Gallery Delhi in 2004. He was one of the artist of Gen Next I at Aakriti Art Gallery in 2006.  He has been in the 'Young Face in Indian Contemporary Art' in 2002, besides being a regular participant at Birla Academy of Art & Culture from 2001- 2006. He has attended camps organised by Oxford Gallery, Kolkata and Orissa festival 2004-05.
