Profile:

 Mahula Ghosh, born in 1973 in Siliguri, West Bengal, has obtained her BFA and MFA in painting from Kala Bhavan, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India between 1989-96. She is a recipient of National Scholarship in 1995, Junior & Senior fellowships from Govt. of India in 2000 and 2017. Mahula has been an artist-in residence at Kanoria Center for Arts, Ahmedabad in 1999. She was awarded the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant from New York in 2009. Mahula has held several solo shows such as in Chitrakoot Gallery, Kolkata in 2004, Anant Art Gallery, New Delhi in 2008, 2010, Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi in 2013 and Arts & Aesthetics, New Delhi in 2015. Tilted Perspective, a solo show organised by Charubasona, Kolkata 2026,  Mahula has participated in several group shows in India and abroad and visited Amsterdam in 1999 and New York in 2006 on such occasions. She has been invited to many art camps including Lalit Kala Academy in 2011, Govt. Of Bihar in 2019, Govt. of Rajasthan 2020, Krabi Municipality, Thailand in 2016.participated an "Artist book' exhibition at Winchester college of art London  and Saffron Art  New York  curated by Amit Jain 2017. Her public art project includes a collaborative installation at Hyatt Andaz, New Delhi, curated by Rajeev Sethy.2017,” Artist Book "group show curated by Amit Jain at “Winchester School of Art 'London 2015,Safron Art  in New York 2017 “AVAAZ DO” presented  by ‘Sahmat’ 2016 New Delhi. participated in a group exhibition 'Techne Disruptors' curated by Myna Mukherjee   and Jaipur literary festival   at High line nine gallery,  New York .2022,.participated in an Art  workshop organised by 'Niracharthu' curated by Sujit S.N. in Thrissur Kerala. 2022.
