The total sale at the Creative India Series, Bombay & Baroda 3 was for Rs 127,722,000. Highest selling lot was lot 121, SH Raza, Bindu- Nad Series (Dyptich) which was sold for Rs 9,000,000. The next high priced lot was Krishen Khanna, Thou Sayest So/ The Interrogation which was sold for Rs. 8,400,000. The auction included items like the Maharana Sangram Singh Hunting Wild Boar from the Udaipur, Mewar School. It was sold for Rs 1,260,000. A folio leaf from a Ragamala Series: A Princess Consoled by Maidens on a Terrace from the Amber, Jaipur School. It was sold for Rs 198,000.

I87 lots (Lots 801-988) were put up for Sotheby's Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction which were sold for a total of 211,273,500 HKD. The highest price went to lot 810, Zhang Xiaogang, Bloodline - Big Family: Family No. 2, which was sold for 52,180,000 HKD. The next high priced item was lot 816, Fang Lijun, 1993.4, It was sold for 28,660,000 HKD.

Sotheby's auction of Arts of the Islamic World offered for sale a wide array of pieces produced across the globe, in countries under Muslim rule, over a period of more than twelve centuries. Particularly noteworthy were the artistic achievements of the ottomans, as witnessed in a number of beautiful Qur'an manuscripts and calligraphies included in the sale.
The highest price went to lot 475, an illustrated and illuminated leaf, its estimated price was 60,000- 80,000 GBP. It was sold for 1,385,250 GBP.

41 lots of Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art were put up for sale. The sale total including buyer's premium was 4,016,300 (USD). The highest price went to lot 8, Mahmoud Saïd (Egyptian, 1897-1964) Marsa Matrouh - Vers le bain de Cléopâtre, indistinctly signed and dated 'M.SAÏD 1959' (lower centre), oil on masonite, 23¾ x 31¾in. (60.4 x 80.7cm.), executed in 1959. It was sold for $602,500.

The sale featured more than 950 lots of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese artwork and antiques.
An important group of cloisonné works from China covers a range of periods from the 18th through 19th centuries. A noteworthy example was a bottle-form vase from the K'ang-hsi period. The vase lot 463, estimated between $10,000 and $15,000 was sold for $79,625. It is made from polychrome enamel on bronze with a turquoise blue ground and is decorated with leaf scrolls and central lotus flowers. It comes from the collection of Robert M. Hoi and was purchased at the American Art Association sale on February 18, 1911.

The highest price went to lot 30, S H Raza, Bindu, acrylic on canvas, signed and dated in English (lower right and verso), 2000, 31.5 x 31.5 in, 80.0 x 80.0 cm. It was sold for Rs. 49,33,800.

The highest price is expected to be lot 33, Catalan School, 15th Century The Death of a Bishop, tempera on gold ground panel, 88.2 x 70.2cm (34 3/4 x 27 5/8in). Its estimated price is US$ 16,000 - 24,000. The present painting has been recognised by Juan Ainaud de Lasarte as by the same hand as the retablo depicting the Dormition of the Virgin, now in the Museo de Arte de Cataluña (inv.24133), Barcelona, by an anonymous 15th century Catalan artist. Lot 34, 39 and 40 are also ranged between US$ 16,000 - 24,000.

Christie's will offer a selection of watercolours and drawings in its Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper sale. Highlights include four early works by Fernand Léger sold to benefit the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, led by the exquisite pencil drawing Femme au Vase. Kandinsky's spectacular 1928 watercolour Vibrierend is a beautifully preserved modernist masterpiece and forms a focal point of the sale. The highest price is expected to be lot 142, Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944), Vibrierend, signed with monogram and dated '28' (lower left), watercolour and pen and India ink on paper laid down on card, of size 14 3/8 x 13¼ in. (36.5 x 33.6 cm.), and executed in July 1928. Its estimated price is $500,000-700,000.
